Morning Janice and everyone. Just to say thank you again for sharing with us. I have recently begun following you on Instagram as well, so I do get a “sneak peak” at the OOD when you post there. You’ve really inspired me to create a pared down cohesive wardrobe. I’ve been working on it for at least two years. Took another two bags to Goodwill yesterday – I think I”m done. I’m down to 64 garments in my wardrobe. Which still sounds like a lot, but considering I have core wardrobes in gray, navy, and black….. and 32 of the 64 items are sweaters. Either cardigans or pullovers. Gosh I love sweaters. There might be some decisions to be made there! Have a great day everyone!

I learned to dine alone when I was business traveling. I also go to concerts, movies, ballet alone because sometimes a friend isn’t available, or my husband prefers TV sports! I love your postings and I too am dedicated to capsule dressing, pruning my closet constantly. Am almost over buying something just because I love it…must consider 3 ways it will fit into my existing clothes.
I think I am going to do some serious purging. Now that I have retired, I’m wearing far fewer clothes. I do voluntary work 3/4 times a week but tend to favour the same garments for warmth and/or ease of movement. Perhaps I should “Kondo” my clothes as to whether they “spark joy”. So Janice, with Spring approaching, please would you might revisit your decluttering posts? I’m certainly going to be using them, starting with socks – how many pairs does one need for goodness sake? 😂
I don’t mind having lunch or afternoon tea on my own when I’m out shopping I can treat myself.

Many thanks for introducing us to APM Monaco! I purchased the celestial stud earring set in rose gold (the set you have in silver above) and it is lovely! I can verify that it is non-allergenic, at least for me. Now I want the black set!
I also have a gray cardigan with black stars which I love!
