She doesn’t know for certain, but she thinks it possible that someone else from her corporation will be there. They probably don’t know her, and she certainly doesn’t know them!

Beautiful clothing ideas
I’m loving the recent study in greens. It’s a great accent, one that I don’t presently have but would like very much to work into. I see that there are greens and then there are greens. Yesterday’s green, I could not wear although it was interesting to read the different opinions of it. Today’s green is more wearable, for me. Although green can suggest spring, or health, I think it could be a year round accent, given the right shade. Plus, I see it goes with my navy. And a Smokey teal green works with grey, I think. So, I certainly won’t cry about too much green.

Also to say the Gabriella scarf capsule from a few days ago was great for green. I hope that heroine will whip out the brown, as suggested.
What fascinating brush strokes to achieve the waterfall effect! I’d love to see this painting in person. It reminds me of the canyons in several of our southwestern states. The sandstone cliffs can range from soft, warm sand to coral or this pink.
Beautiful capsule! At home she has a pair of green velvet pants and a green satin blouse for more formal events! I can see how sh could build this out for year-round living.
I agree with ak. I think I could stand in front of this painting for a long time. Reminds me of some of the canyons/hills we went through last summer in southern Wyoming. It was so beautiful with all the shades of pink/coral/orange. For myself I would have to eliminate the pink, but I seem to be ok in almost all shades of green – maybe because I have green eyes? Although the darker, deeper, more vibrant hues seem to suit me better. I do have a shirt in the LLBean Bayleaf color, usually wear it under a sweater. Have a good day everyone! I have green eyes too but I would keep the pink and swap this olive green for teal green.

This is all so beautiful! I wish I could wear these colors myself, but I definitely can’t so I will jealously appreciate from afar. I have been loving pearl and gold jewelry lately, and these are some lovely pieces.

Still doesn’t convert me to green but the colours look lovely together! I would switch out the green to gray, switch the cream to white and rev up the pink. The garments themselves are nice. This heroine will look approachable and well put together.
I find it interesting when women say I wear x colour because my eyes are x colour. It’s not your eye or hair colour but that dictates flattering shades but skin tone. I have aquamarine eyes but rarely wear the greens or blues that would ‘suit my eyes’..because they don’t. I have fair pink toned skin so colours with an underlying blue like rosy berry, some reds, clear bright orange or pink pure white and black and cool taupe really makes the eye colour pop. Make up artists never advise wearing the same eye shadow shade as the eye colour.
Just clarifying, for me I don’t wear green BECAUSE my eyes are green. What I have found though is with my coloring when I wear green my eyes look exceptionally green. Especially when I wear the darker greens, or even an emerald or kelly green.
I was once told that the best colour one can wear is the same colour as your eyes. For me I can definitely say that it’s been true.
I’ve always been convinced that Josie Mermet, in Paris, recommends colors based on the colors of your eyes; for me, she recommended brown, purple and green. If you look really closely at my eyes, she’s spot on!

I also have green eyes and green tops definitely emphasize them nicely. I bought a lavender blouse years ago and couldn’t believe the number of comments I received about my green eyes every time I wore it. I suppose it’s basic colour wheel theory…green and purple both secondary colours and are opposite each other on the wheel.
I’ve kept that in mind through the years. Sadly, lavender and light purple tops haven’t always been in vogue or available.
I really like green and have tried many times to incorporate it into my capsule wardrobe. My challenge is finding enough pieces in my favorite shades to use it year around. The search continues!

Loved this one (and several of the ones in the last two weeks ). Green is one of my best colors and one I have not worn before getting draped. I can “tweak “ the shades to work for my spring coloring. Thanks for listening to our comments
I have a love/hate relationship with sage and pink. Separately, I love both colors. Unfortunately, as part of an ensemble, they remind me of the polyester Koret separates my mother loved in 70’s.
In a long previous post I believe she did a green/pink combo that was eucalyptus/geranium, and it was so far away from the Koret separates that even I liked it! I’m with you on some of the memories certain color combos bring, and not in a loving way, lol!
I haven’t commented on a few posts for lack of time, but wanted to say how much I love seeing the greens. Really adore the vibrant Kelly green from Monday…but what I have noticed is how many different greens exist and the person who thinks she can’t wear green just hasn’t found her shade. To my mind, green can be a neutral if it is your shade and I think we can see that beginning to shape up in today’s post. Brilliant insight Janice re green at this time of year or health-wise. There are times when we crave colours for what they represent as you have wisely pointed out in the past.
This capsule is ALMOST enough to convince me to try stone chino pants…almost. I love this soft color palette, and I would readily wear most of these items (sub sage green pants for the stone and switch out a couple styles for that aren’t as feminine).
Today I’m wearing blush pink + dusky rose + olive and I really like it. This soft sage/aloe green is so pretty with muted pinks, and now I’m thinking that adding ivory to the mix is a good idea.
Also, Janice you are KILLING ME with these gorgeous woodland scene scarves lately…with rabbits in them, no less! LOVE LOVE LOVE
I think stone pants might be on my list for spring and summer – I like the way they look with black, and frankly with any other color. We shall see!

Seeing the beautiful capsule makes me wonder why I don’t have this particular shade of pink in my wardrobe. It’s so lovely, goes well with green (which I have plenty of in my closet) and goes well with my coloring. I adore those pink pants — and how delightful that they can be worn by men or women!
As a frequent conference presenter, I love participants who pay attention and take notes! I assume this wonderful woman also only asks questions if she actually has a question, and not just to show off what she thinks of as her superior knowledge! (of course not, that’s usually the guys..)

Morris Graves was a local artist and there is a museum named after him in Eureka, CA, with several of his paintings displayed. It is a pleasure to stand before them and immerse myself. He is one of my favorites, and I seldom see him acknowledged, so thank you! Many of his paintings connect the natural and spiritual worlds. I never would have thought of his work as inspiration for what to wear, but it is! You’ve done a superb job creating a wardrobe from “Waterfall.” I always love reading and looking at what your heroines are wearing and what they’re up to. Thanks, very much.
