She doesn’t have to actually be IN the booths – she hires lovely staff for that! But she does get to wander around, offering samples to people, and chatting with customers who seem to be legitimately interested…
She loves dressing in “chocolate and caramel” colors, with a touch of ivory whipped cream!
One company has mentioned that they might started making chocolate-covered cherries!
She sees a beautiful red sweater in her future…

What an awesome job! I too was thinking that red (cherry) or a deep pink (the colour of ruby chocolate) needed to be added. If I wore deep brown and camel, I would be all over this wardrobe. Sadly, I am a bright winter and camel makes my skin look like that of a medieval peasant who has been toiling in the fields all day….not a good look.
This reminds me of visiting Hershey, PA. The candy factory has some fabulous interactive exhibits.
This is an entirely scrumptious capsule. It’s winter. She’s able to handle a few extra days on the road if her flight gets cancelled!
I own those Naturalizer boots. They also look terrific with navy and denim. A light dove grey skirt or pants work as well. They’re quite comfortable.
I can see our heroine adding that red sweater. Why not a red handbag, red earrings, red boots, red sneakers, red earrings, a red brooch, and so on.
And, back home, it’s entirely possible that she has scarves and a few accent pieces in: lemon yellow, tangerine, bright blue, coral, apple green, turquoise, violet or Kelly green just in case she wants to mix it up a bit when she’s dining with colleagues who rep the hard candy flavors.
Skip the lemon and tangerine, and you could be talking about my closet!

Love it! This is exactly what I would want in my wardrobe for neutrals. Just throw in my (dare I say signature) peacock colors of blue, green, teal, and violet, and it’s the core of my dream wardrobe!
Yes that’s exactly me too Mary. I don’t own or buy many clothes but those accessories have set my heart beating! Always a sucker for accessories in all the colours you mention too.

You’ve already had me appreciating chocolate brown leather accessories, now I’m delighting in this delicious wardrobe. Not my colors at all, but I can certainly apprectiate this beautiful collection (and the heroine’s career!). I especially love all the accessories, and most especially love all the jewelry choices. Now those are classics even I could wear.

Yes that is pretty. I skipped over it quickly when I was catching up on the archives, as there is so much material that I paid less attention to wardrobes with colours that don’t suit me. Now that I’m caught up to the present day, I imagine my differently coloured friends in the brown, khaki etc wardrobes. I love the richness of colour and fabric in today’s chocolate / caramel wardrobe.
Did we ever find out what the Easiest Job in the World was (with the notebook in the hotel)? Will we ever?

My grandma circa 1990 or so pointed out that in the olden days, people dressed up to look richer. Then (now?) People often dress down – even expensive clothes look comparable to less expensive clothes.
So… yes. Dress like a peasant woman!
What’s not to love about this delicious wardrobe? It looks good enough to eat. Although I can’t wear really dark brown or caramel, I love this example of a blended wardrobe. The munched chocolate strip is inspired. However, would a sharp saleswoman really wear clothes that look like she’s just come up from the country? I think I would be the one wearing candy colours, perhaps inspired by the purple box of Quality Street (just don’t ask me about my opinion on the look and feel of the new eco-friendly sweet wrappers!). Great look-back too.
