As much as Celeste loves denim, she agrees with her friends that this subtle “vintage indigo” has a lot of appeal…
She’s not too worried about variety in her wardrobe; since she works in gym clothes, any chance to wear “nice” pants – or a dress – is variety enough for her!
But still, she double-checks; anybody who travels should stop for a few moments to make this last review…

Which of the 3 heroines are you? I’m probably a combination of Sunny’s style, with Celeste’s color palette… But we have not yet met Cerise!

🥰 This is my gym kit – blue or grey joggers, turquoise sports tee and turquoise hoodie! This heroine is the most like me, I could wear the same colours just swapping the joggers for jersey or linen trousers, the sports tee for a cotton tee or floral blouse, the hoodie for a turqouise or white knitted lacy, crochet or pointelle cardigan/jumper or a floral cardigan with turqouise and purple flowers and butterflies. My dress is denim lyocell with floaty sleeves.

Although I believe turquoise looks good on almost everyone – I just don’t happen to have any! Still like Sunny’s wardrobe as well. This wardrobe is definitely me as I like to keep it simple and casual. Even with a wardrobe like this, being that it is put together well makes up for the casualness of it. Maybe it’s the accessories…

Clay and Celeste are my two choices thus far, though my turquoise accent color would have to go in a more greenish direction . Sunny was lovely, but too bright for me .

I’m probably a mix of Celeste and Sunny. Certainly Celeste’s color palette and a mix of both their styles. On a morning like this that vintage indigo sweatshirt and pants looks really comfy.
Celeste is definitely the closest heroine to me in both color and style, though I’m not as much of a relaxed style/hoodie + sweatpants person as she is.
I’m loving this indigo color in the wardrobes…it’s like if chambray had more of the depth of dark denim, which feels perfect for those of us who love navy as our base neutral but want to light it up for summer when we wear paler colors and/or linen (which tends to de-saturate colors).
I’ve always loved this quote and was happy to see it this morning. This part always resonates with me: “It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.” The reflexive instinct to scrutinize, analyze, evaluate, and judge is strong in me, and it’s a process that has its place, but it can be stifling to creativity if given free rein!
I see colours in all 3 so far that appeal. Styles…maybe a few. I love the gold/yellow still, but would happily add today’s turquoise/aqua to it. Maybe the soft green too. I love the colours most in Janice’s posts…oops, sorry for the rhyme. The styles I try to semi ignore because they’re just examples…though when looking at a certain personality type, it does make sense to ask if the example works… Anyway, I’m far from today’s athletic heroine, but these all work beautifully for her.
I’m definitely Celeste- in color and style. I love blue: so calming and peaceful. And the smart-casual style is what I like. No need to look sloppy with all of the options in clothing these days, but I am. SAHM that “gets out” one day a week so I don’t need to invest in the office wardrobe from my earlier years.

My closet is a blend of Clary (green) and Celeste. Clary’s more dressy style is more in my wheelhouse but I love aquas and any intensity of blue/greens.

Very different and athletic but also genuine and can dress it up too — reminds me of college at my all women’s school!
The brightness of the blue makes it feminine too — different from the teen boys who pull the drawstring of their gray hoodies around their face (why yes I do have a son)

Hi Janice and Everyone! My daily work life is Celeste’s, though I’d probably wear a sweater in place of a hoodie. I would sneak in some of those sage/pistachio outfits when the blue curacao ones are in the wash.
