She’s taking a long weekend to a small town a couple of hours away from where she lives. All kinds of raptors have been seen in the fields and wooded areas near there.
She loves to photograph raptors; their speed and precision thrills her…

I can appreciate the beauty and elegance of this wardrobe while realizing it wouldn’t be for me :) I just love my colors too much. And on a side note, I’m officially done trying the 21 piece wardrobe for a month. I never seem able to account for changes in mood and weather that make me want to wear something other than what I have chosen! I love the raptor border and I love the idea of this heroine slinking quietly through the woods, blending in with the surroundings. She’s looking great for the birds and for herself!
These colors would make me look like the walking dead, but these wardrobe items would make a beautiful, cozy work from home capsule in any color palette. My home office is in my half-basement and so it’s chilly. This wardrobe looks so warm and comfortable!

You must have telepathy! I hoped that you would do a wardrobe with a core of muted olive. I am a soft autumn and look best in muted autumn colors with low contrast. I have actually already pinned several of the LLBean olive and Lands End forest moss items that you included in my personal pinterest wishlist board. After seeing them in this six pack, I want to purchase them NOW.

I share your same soft autumn personal coloring . This wardrobe would be a good basis for me, but then I would need to add some muted accent colors, as all muted all of the time would quickly bore me. However, I have days that I want to not draw attention to myself and to not have to try hard , so this group would do perfectly for those days. Other days I want to express my mood with some soft color .
Caramel and teal are my favorite muted accent colors to add a pop of color.
I had to think twice about “raptors” because the first thing that came into my head was Jurassic Park, but I didn’t think she could be “slinking quietly through the woods” looking for those sorts of raptors.

This is a lovely ensemble of comfy clothes that would work for me. I’d just have to change the colors because I look sickly and dead in these tones, lol. I think they’d be gorgeous on a redhead!
I will be honest, when I saw the scarf and the color wheel I thought it looked like… Maybe I won’t be honest. Let’s just say, colors I associate with mud (not the good kind) or goose poop. But I am glad to admit that I was wrong. Translated into actual clothing, rather than swatches, that looks gorgeous and the pieces themselves do too. It’s not my colors at all but what a beautiful collection, with an overall feel of calm and fresh air. Love this.
This is so beautiful! That scarf pulls at my heartstrings. I see a couple of commenters have said these are their colors, and it makes me happy to think someone in the world might have this little capsule. I think on someone who is flattered by these colors, she would turn more heads than she might expect. :)
Looking more closely at the scarf, I can see lots of room for expanding the color range: sage, warm dusty rose, and deep soft plum would all be very cohesive as well as the beautiful colors presented here.
This is one of my favorite wardrobes out of all those you have done. Unfortunately, olive is most definitely not my color–but grey is, and I can “see” these same pieces in lovely shades of grey, with plum and blue accents. Thank you–I could live in these pieces every day.
Once again I must really try not to be distracted by classy colors and great clothes. I Will stick to navy and grey! But a little taupe might work in. These colors and types of clothes are just perfect for the season, I think.

LOVE the olive! My knew where with everything color.
As a soft autumn who spends a great deal of time in the woods for both work and pleasure, this wardrobe resonates for me. I wear a good deal of olive-y green and taupe-ish colors as a base, mixed with brighter accents–corals, blues, teals, burgundies, off-whites, etc. Sometimes darker browns, too. Nature colors. :)
The “quiet” wardrobe really resonates with me today. So much hectic craziness going on at work all of a sudden – I love the idea of bringing my own stillness into the mix. And these colors are growing on me. Grabbing some of these items now! Thank you Janice! And may your new home be as lovely and organized as these wardrobes.

I’ve always envied people who can where these colours and look quietly stunning. Well done with this.
My move into brown as a third neutral to my natural navy and grey is an exercise in treading carefully and not rushing. Just like nature watching.
So far I have chocolate brown and taupe (brownish) trousers. Browns need to be of a pinkish hue.
My favourite outfit is the first one. However to wear brown near my face, I would have to wear soft pink or salmon pink or soft pale blue. Plum definately goes with brown, so I enjoyed the look back too.

It’s interesting that you chose to make this story about a photographer, because these almost-non-colors remind me immediately of sepia-toned photography of yore. Yore being, the Civil War era, or until photography produced black and white (and grey).
