The general theory behind my packing plan can be translated into nearly infinite color combinations. If pink is not your cup of tea, try blue! In the next few days I’m going to swap out for at least one different neutral, and a few different accent colors. The theory is always the same: 5 core neutral garments, an accent jacket, a couple of white or light neutral tops, and then the 6 dash accent garments in your color(s) of choice. Easy peasy, once you get the hang of it…

I love the core concept(s). I'm planning a sort of honeymoon (anniversary) in mid-June in Beacon Hill. Four days. New England weather! How to take the minimum with maximum comfort for museums and walking and then for festive evenings out? Since I cannot start from scratch, I'm using your formula in familiar black and white, with bright blues and greens for accents. what do you think?

This is what I want my actual wardrobe to be. Black and grey as my two neutrals. Blue and something else as my colors. *sigh* This just makes me happy inside.

This is a great idea. And you're a good teacher. I am going to try to put together a few of these wardrobes myself for practice. Thank you for being such an inspiration to many women!

Send her to the head of the class! I am an online stalker, and can not wait for the next post. This whole idea really resonates with me, and I could not figure this out by myself.
Thanks

How would you like to take on the new shade tangerine?
I'd love to see what you'd do with that one.
Your blues are just brilliant!

This is so pretty and I think the best part is that most people have the basics of each set you make. It's brilliant

I can't decide if I like this one or the pink one from the other day better. I think I would have to do half and half.

Thank-you so very much for the wardrobes based on brown and cream. All of your travel wardrobes are fresh looking and very wearable. But, it's rare to find anything based on brown – my colour – instead of black or grey. I can take one of the brown ones and swap out the coral/peach for my shade of yellow-green, and I'm still good. You've just proved that colour schemes based on browns and beiges don't have to be deadly dull or muddy.
