I bought this nifty little sack on Etsy – I believe the woman who made it is in Poland? It’s the perfect size for a stack of jewelry – my cuff bracelets fit perfectly into the bottom of the bag.
In order to keep things padded, I will probably toss in a pair of socks (or two), and slide necklaces down into the socks so they don’t scratch each other.
A better angle to see how deep the base of the bag is…
I pack a LOT of jewelry – it’s small, it’s light, it makes a ton of difference in the appearance of what I’m wearing. It’s all insured. Really, what’s the point in having nice things if I don’t take them with me on amazing vacations to Paris?

Beautiful jewelry. I will have to try this packing idea next time I travel. A question: How (and where on your clothing) do you were pins? I have some beautiful pins that I have collected over the years, but don't know the current style for wearing them. Thanks.
I usually wear two or three at a time – on the collar of my winter coat, mostly. Or the lapel of a blazer. Or the shoulder of a cardigan. I wear them in pretty traditional places; brooches are so uncommon anymore that wear one at all is a radical fashion statement.
RE: the pins question – I have many vintage pins, but wearing just one big one at a time can come off as a bit old-fashioned. I tend to mix and match two or three at a time, either by color or by shape, and that looks more modern. Also, wear them on unexpected contemporary items of clothing (denim jackets, leather jackets, trench coats), or use them to hold a scarf fold in place.

Thanks for the great tips!! Do you put your jewelry bag near the bottom of your carryon to avoid theft, or do TSA agents typically ask that it be placed in its own conveyer belt bin?
TSA has never once looked at my jewelry. You'd think that much metal in one place would catch their eye, but it must be something they see frequently.

Great idea! I have something like this bag, too for my accessories. Also I have lots and lots of little cloth bags in which I put my necklaces and bracelets, so they won't tangle up. But I have never considered putting my stud-earrings onto a business card. Excellent idea! – I wish you a safe flight and a lovely holiday in Paris!!! :-)

Is that an index card you used to hold your studded earrings? I never know how to carry mine and I think you have solved my problem.
