This is a bold color combination! It makes it hard to stick with 6 colors when you keep presenting us with such delightful combinations. I feel like a kid in a candy shop, so many choices what's a lady to do.

You use these examples as a way to leverage YOUR chosen colors in new ways… Substitute a scarf in your colors, switch out the garments to things that are already in your wardrobe, and away you go!
have a lovely weekend,

Thank you for always including a pair of sneakers/walking shoes with the mix. It is refreshing to see a compilation of walkable outfits. Many thanks!

Well said, Anonymous 8:54 AM. Even when the colors or the scarf aren't on my wish list (or in my closet), I always enjoy looking at the various ways to style a scarf with a casual outfit. It's delightfully shocking to realize how much a scarf can dress up jeans and sneakers. :)
Wishing you very happy holidays — may your shoes be comfy and your bling be dazzling.

I always love the "scarf" posts, but I wonder, do you have any suggestions as to where to find pretty, stylish scarves at the lower end of the price scale? My budget would be somewhere in the $50-$100 range (at the moment…there's always hope for a future filled with Hermes!). Thank you!

My mother got some very pretty scarves at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Shop. Some are William Morris patterns.

I'm crazy about that third frame with the dress; lush colors, too. The scarf is amazing.

These are dreamy looks…
such soft feminine shades to play with that scarf.
Happy Holidays Janice!

Thank you so much for this, Janice. This very scarf was under the tree yesterday morning! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

I am enjoying these ideas! I saw the bag from La Bagagerie. Seems kind of like Longchamps? They don't seem to sell in the U.S. except online at Forzieri.com . Do you know about these bags? Are they worth hunting down? I'm in Los Angeles.
