The camel and light blue is especially lovely. I do appreciate the wonderful ideas of combining cool and warm colors. If I have learned anything from your blog it is that I look differently at scarves and paintings. Scarves especially make it easy to pull colors into your 'season'.
Since I am more of a casual and nature loving person, I could wear these combinations and feel well dressed and comfortable. The colors suit me even though I had been told I am a "Winter". If I don't wear too much brown and tan around my face it works for me.
Brilliant! Great artists have an eye for color combinations that is genius. Thank you for opening your readers' eyes to watch for inspiration in art, photos, fabrics and the beauty all around us. We don't have to invent color combinations – just borrow from the best! Hmmm… that painting in my living room… how would that look transferred to an outfit? Janice, you are an inspiration! Linda
Thank you so much, Janice! I've been mostly off-grid these holidays, so I am just seeing this now. :o) And I actually have a couple of similar pieces I could wear.
I love Vincent's paintings and your way to interpret them into a wardrobe. I would wear many of the pieces you present here, and the color combinations are beautiful. I have started to buy the pieces for my capsule wardrobe that I came up with after following your step-by-step instructions and it's never been easier to get dressed every morning! So I wanted to say thank you again. My colleagues have commented on my beautiful clothes several times. I can't wait for spring to wear the dresses and skirts more often. Right now, it is snowing…
A new follower. You have hit my heart with your coordinates based on beautiful art. Especially Van Gogh, my very, very favorite artist. I have a little difficulty in finding clothes in that I am 5'9 and heavy, but the ideas are absolutely beautiful and I am going to have a great time searching out just the right pieces. Thank you so much for you insight

Soothing and mellow colours, perfect for this time of year and so lovely.

I adore them all. And I would love to have the painting…okay, realistically, a nicely framed copy of the Van Gogh masterpiece…too.
