I am spending 2 weeks in Spain this March. Any ideas for a travel wardrobe? My neutrals are navy, brown and gray, with coral/peach, green, ivory and blue accents. (Spring palette when I had my colors done.) I am hoping that this will be the kick start to creating a capsule wardrobe as you have. Loving your website, as always!

I would be interested in Janice's ideas too, as my neutrals are the same and I love coral/peach, green and blue in particular! Whereabouts in Spain are you planning to visit? I live in the Murcia region, plus I have written posts about other areas on my second blog: http://www.spainuncovered.com. Please contact me via the blog if you have any questions about Spain, but any questions about fashion, capsule wardrobes and colours are best directed towards Janice!

This is my colouring as well. My wardrobe colour scheme closely matches anon's and I would love to see a sample wardrobe like this – especially since I am taking a cycling trip through Spain next fall!

I've come to conclude that starting with the scarf, especially if it's a a complexly patterned and multi-colored silk scarf like the Hermes here, is, yes, the way to go. If I choose the garments first and then take inventory of my scarf drawer, I usually end by deciding on a rectangular, long viscose linen or wool scarf of a single color–or a necklace– instead.

I'm new here – and I love what I've seen so far! I do love this idea of building on the colors in the scarf. (I painted my bathroom based on colors in a Mary Cassat print I have hanging by the sink.) Also love your 33 project! I'm looking forward to more! :)
