Hermes Grands Fonds (great depths) isn’t available except in the vintage market, but it’s worth hunting for one! These shades of blue give you all kinds of possibilities for combining colors that you might have never before considered.Two quick notes:

- Please do NOT think that I will only work with Hermes scarves – far from it! I’m “in process” on some other scarves, and would welcome any scarf suggestion accompanied with a good photograph, or a link to a clear image!

Janice, I love the ideas since blue is one of my colors. How would you wear the scarf with the Patagonia dress? I can't wear anything wrapped around my neck, too confining for me, and I would want to show the front of the dress.
Maybe as a bracelet? Tied in your hair? Any other ideas?
would look wonderful as a hairband pulling your hair back, also tied around the handle of your bag…
At the waist. Fold on the diagonal until about 3 inches wide. Wrap arpund waist and either just tie it or get a decorative belt buckle of the kind without the spike (or with the spike removed) and feed the two ends in from opposite directions and pull to the desired tightness.

Love the idea of a scarf as a bracelet. I have a few square scarves inherited from my mother that are just too small to wear around my neck. But around my wrist? Tres chic!!

I love these and the art ones. My problem is the art I love is usually in my colors but much too light. However, as I've studied what you've posted, I've learned that I love art that is soft and medium/lower contrast, which is how I should be dressing (but in deeper tones than the art I prefer).
Then again, I've learned much from your Chic Sightings and …well, everything!

I'm glad that you love creating them, because I love reading them! My only problem is that with each new color combination, I think "Okay, THAT'S my favorite." I can't commit to a color theme for my wardrobe, because each new collection makes me forget my previous ones. P.S. I think March's outfit is my personal favorite.
Love the brighter, deeper tones of blue and accents of gold. Would love to have each and every item listed. Off to explore my closet for available substitutions. Waiting (im)patiently for the next six months!

p.s. have you heard of mm lafleur? Based on what I read on your blog, you may like the concept (and the fact that the clothes are made in NYC), not to mention beautiful. I found out about her recently and immediately thought, "I have to tell Janice!" which is hilarious because we've never met but I read your blog almost every day.
Love this start with….. But the scarf/art could be anything. A favorite top, skirt, doesn't matter what it is. Mine is a dress, way to short and tight now. But I love the colors in it. I take a small piece with me when I go shopping to get the right color. Now everything (nearly) goes. THANK YOU. Trudy in Oz
