I’m having a tired day today, but since I had the photographs all queued up, I thought I’d at least share them…
After Amsterdam, B and I came BACK to Paris…
We walked, and ate…
Every time I go to Paris, I have at least one meal at Brasserie Balzar!

Thanks for giving me a lovely "Paris Pause" in my day. Rest!

I adore the breakfast room in the ancient basement. So quaint & cozy.
Thank you for sharing.

I am with Beckie…adore that breakfast basement room! How wonderful! Get some rest, Janice! Always love to see Paris Pictures.

Thanks so much, Janice, for the vicarious trip to Paris! (Of course you're tired. Just imagining the steps to that ancient basement breakfast room, like viewing the steep steps to your room in Amsterdam, pains my badly arthritic knees. Quaint is not for the old or the mobility-challenged.)

We passed by the "Great Men" Hotel a few times last summer and then I remembered why it sounded so familiar. We took a stroll through the lobby in your honor.
We breakfasted in a few of those cellars in years past–oh, the first sip of much-needed coffee in those beautiful spaces!

The Cluny/Sorbonne area is one of my favourites. The gardens of the musée are always so pleasant and there are so many little restaurants to visit. Can anyone ever get tired of Paris? Thank you for the mini-visit.

As the others have said, take a rest! travelling can be so exhausting, and it sounds like you had a lot of adventures this trip

The food looks amazing and so does that quant basement room.
I love the charm of those old buildings….
Hope you feel better tomorrow, maybe it is a bit of jet lag which should pass soon.

This is the second mini-visit to Paris I've come across today and it's fueling a strong desire to go there again. Love the breakfast room in the Best Western.
Rest up, relax and have a wonderful weekend.

I like your travel posts… and even admit to a slight bit of envie. So lovely.

Gosh, that looks lovely! It's a pity my husband isn't as keen on Paris or France in general as I am. He's more interested in seeing something new every time so we're off to Budapest in Nov.

I would love to see a post on chambray/ denim shirts.
Love your fashion report! You really had your eyes open!
Finally, the size of the dessert is interesting! Large enough to get a proper taste and enjoy, small enough not to blow your diet out of the water.
