Yesterday, there were a couple of concerns/questions about what to do if you don’t look good in camel. How about navy? (grey would also be fabulous, as would taupe…)

Tee shirt – Lanvin, pants – Jaeger, snood/infinity scarf – Genie, garnet earrings – David Yurman, coat – Jaeger, watch – Cartier, loafers – Tod’s, tote – Halston Heritage
Cashmere turtleneck – Loro Piano, bracelet – Kenneth Jay Lane, burgundy silk blouse – Yves Saint Laurent vintage, skirt – Jaeger, silk knit dress – A.P.C., scarf – Brooks Brothers, riding boots – Fendi
Of course, still lots of possible ways to wear these few simple basics!
love,
Janice
I love burgundy, and would like to see what you come up with in taupe. Great ideas here. Thanks.
I would love to see the other combinations in grey and taupe, too.
Love the burgundy with the navy. This is a combination I wore years ago and I'm not sure when I stopped wearing it. Now I want some new shoes and other accessories! By the way, the Jaeger link doesn't seem to be working.
Bonjour Janice!
Cordialement.
Bonne fin de semaine.
Oh I absolutely LOVE that combination. I'm adding more of these to my wardrobe these days having avoided it for many years as it was my secondary school uniform (ages 11-16)
Amazing blog and very interesting stuff you got here! I definitely learned a lot from reading through some of your earlier posts as well and decided to drop a comment on this one!
Blogging is the new poetry. I find it wonderful and amazing in many ways.
I don’t know how I should give you thanks for making us aware about this important information!
