Unlike last week’s All-Black wardrobe, I don’t know that an All-Grey ensemble is required at any place of work. So I’m thinking of this grouping as a version of the “what to wear when you don’t want to get dressed” post that I did here. My suggestion was to have a core of six matching garments (which would give you at least a handful of outfit possibilities) and also to have a core of accessories that you could reach for – almost without thinking – that would pull everything together, and keep the world from realizing that you dressed yourself with your eyes (almost) closed! So my friend who wears this ensemble, and these accessories, has blonde/grey hair, gentle blue eyes, and a way about her that attracts hugs…
Remember to look for blue quartz, chacedony, and beach glass, in addition to blue topaz, if you really like this color. Some pieces of jewelry are very inexpensive and can be a short-term treat…

I love this concept! I'm thinking of a summery version, maybe all in chambray…

I was always a brown and green gal, until my hair started to go mostly gray. I've gradually morphed to a gray/silver base, and it goes well with all kinds of accessories. So I'm looking forward to a week of gray+ if that's what you have planned!

Love this! I would love to see a version with a navy/indigo base, and BRIGHT accessories – periwinkle, orange, hot pink, turquoise, etc.

I like this. It would work for me.

That blue-mood pearl necklace is on its way to my mail box right now! Elegant basics, Janice, and the loveliest of accessories.

You just reminded me of the blue sea glass earrings bought in Turks and Caicos and never worn. Grey definitely works as a simple get-up get-dressed wardrobe for me. Merci.

I love the concept of having something to just pull together when you just don't want to get dressed (like today on rainy Mondays).

This would look gorgeous with some navy added in. I'm so smitten with gray and navy, it's so classy.

This is quite funny. I posted on your Facebook page about trying the Marsala color with a grey monochrome wardrobe, just this moment. And then came to have my morning coffee with "you" here. Great minds. No?

Thank you so much for your latest grey and black wardrobes. I've been thinking of adding a bit of color and these have really helped me out!

Another green/brown girl, whose blonde hair is now turning grey, so ideas for a grey wardrobe with some warm accents would be much appreciated!

Interestingly this one has no appeal as yet, but once I've greyed I might like it a lot more :-)

After the sea of black, now you are talking my colour (greyed blonde). Exciting!

Grey, navy and wine are the core colours in my wardrobe, tempered with a little powder blue and pink. Funny how long it took me admit that the paler, greyer versions of pink are actually flattering to me.

I just love grey so I'd be all over the grey wardrobe (though the soft blue wouldn't suit). My only concern is that with grey hair and a general lack of contrast, some people might look like they're fading into the wallpaper. I think some people have to be very intentional and picky about how you put this look together so they didn't look just generally faded…

Love blue and grey! A beautiful combination. I especially like the blue pearls in this capsule.

I am so excited that you are doing gray! I look at the other wardrobes and try to imagine them with a gray base color, but to see one in gray really makes my day. Thank you. I wear dark gray, light gray and ivory as neutrals. My accent colors are rose pink, plum, navy, light and dark teal, and an olive-ish green that is not drab olive green. My hair is a dark blond with warm highlights, and gray streaks. I used to wear brown, but now look washed out in most shades. Gray is the only neutral that looks good.

I am very fond of this color combination. I am currently building a wardrobe of grey and navy with blue and lilac, and these ideas will go to my inspiration board! I was wondering through if other pastel colors can be incorporated with my main color choices, or would that be too busy? Playing with some scarves that have light greens and pinks as well as lilacs, kind of like a Tiffany glass in pastel
