Her eyes are brown. Her hair is grey. She figures that if nature can combine warm and cool colors, so can she!
(beautiful, lustrous brown shoes would not go amiss here…)

Love grey and brown…and a touch of black!

This one is particularly helpful as I do have a lot of grey, however I have been told recently that I look better in warm colours (and most of my grey is cool toned). As I'm looking to buy more brown clothes, a series using brown for basics would be really helpful!.

You've convinced me that gray, the perfect neutral for women of a certain age, goes with everything!

My favorite so far. Gray and brown are my winter core colors.

Beautiful accessories. Would love to see them with camel or a golden brown.

I've regretted leaving my browns by the wayside as my hair silvers and I move to core basics in grey. But now I see how to wear my smoky topaz jewelry, warm bronze pearls, and all those lovely scarves I tucked away. why didn't I think of this? Well, that's where you come in Janice!

Really beautiful! Thanks as always for the ideas. Janice, will you do another "What I Wore" series – I loved seeing your choices/reasons from your 333? Merci par avance!

I love seeing how versatile grey is. I'm enjoying this series. I have blue-grey eyes and silver-grey hair so this isn't for me, probably (only probably!) Looking forward to seeing other ideas. Loved the blue.

Using accessories to highlight one's eyes is a clever idea. Love it! Mary

Yes, this needs some really good warm toned brown booties and perhaps a fabulous brown bag with a tweed grey and brown coat and suede gloves.

This proves that you can wear any color with a neutral because it is…neutral! Almost all colors come in warm or cool tones (orange and black may be the exception). That means that navy, grey, brown may be found in warm or cool tones. Warm tones have more yellow in them, cool tones have more blue.

… I have greeny turquoise eyes, I need to wear more of those blue/green colours in my accessories!

I noticed that all of your grey wardrobes have a grey-haired woman in mind…this may work for a few, but as your hair greys your skin fades too…all that grey, if you wear any of it without color near your face makes me fade away, even with makeup!
I have a few grey items that I am actually phasing out in favor of black basics that give me more definition.
However, today's grey and brown are a combination I wore often when my hair was brown…and it is sophisticated and beautiful.
Wish I could still wear them!

I have a hard time with this one. Grey and brown are my two neutrals and I find combining them challenging. In this case the goldy gold of the accessories against the cool grey feels off to me.

What you're saying is completely true. I know that everybody must say the same thing, but I just think that you put it in a way that everyone can understand. I'm sure you'll reach so many people with what you've got to say.
I really appreciate your professional approach. These are pieces of very useful information that will be of great use for me in future.
