She can take historical data, and give you really good ideas of what’s going to happen in the future. They try to move her to the home office, but she doesn’t really want to live there…
So she flies to Headquarters once a month, for 3 days spent with the Board…
So many of her co-workers don’t understand WHY she travels so often… After all, she just sits in a room all day and works with spreadsheets.
How important can that be? And what’s with the yellow clothes?

Another great tale to go with a very realistic wardrobe. That yellow–excuse me, gold–keeps the neutrals from being boring. Good tip.
The WSJ used to (maybe still does?) have a series called "Work Wear" or something like that, with photos of stylish real people at work in their own clothes. Some were really inspiring.

These are the corporate colours of a chain of coffee shops in my home city, which look cool, restful and modern.
I imagine a women with white hair and dark grey eyes wearing this? I'm very fond of grey + warm bright colours, and think this would combine well with your recent lunar wardrobe…

Was thinking the same thing, Alice, about this combining well with the lunar wardrobe. The moon often shines golden and grey, especially near the ocean shoreline. It appears more silver-gray at apogee with yellow-grey at perigee. I think. Those beautiful corals Janice used in the liar wardrobe remind me of the moon color above open water. Together, they make an amazing set of colors I would love to wear. (Especially that degrade scarf by Kenzo with that watch, bracelet, and sharp handbag – perfect blend of shape and form!)
It's tidy how finances and the moon both live in an in-between world: always displaying dependable, long-term permanence, but always behaving in the fluidity of short-term movement. The moods fit beautifully.

I love tweed, but it's not easy to find a tweed suit. Although this one is stupid expensive, I suspect that it's gorgeously well made, and it's certainly a delight to look at!

Heads up for those going into the corporate work force after graduating next month (or those returning after raising children!) – THIS is how you put together a stylish capsule wardrobe! I can't wear mustard gold, but substitute cobalt blue…ummm.
I am rapidly running out of ways to say "wow". I love mustard yellow but it is a very tricky colour and hard to find the right one. Love the tweed suit and it is very adaptable as a core for a wardrobe. Would probably last for 50 years.

On a grey-eyed blonde, this wardrobe would be amazing. Grey and yellowish-camel or mustard continue to be one of my very favorite color combinations; it says elegance and classic as well as, yes, the money spot. :)
This is a lovely grouping, and I enjoyed the paler version of the hard to wear mustard color as an accent! I liked the longer skirt lengths. This inspired me to go over my mustard accents and use them in a fresh way. Every outfit looked professional and classic. The scarves, as usual, were magnificently chosen and pull everything together.The tones matched perfectly in all the yellows…I know that takes you a great deal of time and effort to find the perfect color! Thank you for your inspiration!
Oh YES, these yellowish shades were a thrill to match – I must have looked at 500 different "yellow" shirts and blouses before I was able to find things that suited me! I try to be very picky, on your behalf!

This is stunning! Makes me wish I could wear that gold color! I'm glad I don't have to dress this "fancy" for work but such beautiful items! I bet we see that tweed suit again soon! The story and wardrobe mesh perfectly! The painting made me think of chemistry class for some reason!
That mustard gold is a color I never wore before my shift from cool to warm colors. I've always loved it with grey. I too see the lunar wardobe along side this one. I love the combination of warm muyed with grey. That is the reason I've kept some grey neutrals to wear with the gold and rusty red..
