We might as well take advantage of the 30% discount that the lovely women at KathKath have offered us, right? The code is vivkath30… their site is kathkath.com.
If you browse about at all on their site, you will find this gorgeous scarf, which is available in both square and rectangle, AND in both silk and modal/cashmere:
There are so many colors available here, but I settled on these, for now. What a rich wealth of beauty…
It was specifically requested that I work with this scarf and a grey base, so I’m going to use these pieces. Just to amp up the dressiness a bit, I’ve included a pretty blouse and a tweed skirt…
If someone were to really commit to this palette, jewelry in sea glass and mother of pearl would be perfect…
These colors are perfect with grey – the colors of sea and sky…
As always, a “mostly neutral” wardrobe with just a dash of accents can make a perfect travel wardrobe:
How easy would it be to just fold, stack and pack all of those tee shirts?
love,
Janice

Janice,
I could see these same gorgeous accent colors with a neutral base of sandy tan garments ! Something for us all ! I keep having to learn to narrow down my accent color numbers for travel — your posts like this pave the way for me — I don’t have to pack my whole darn closet!

This whole wardrobe is gorgeous! The greys are already in my closet (mostly) and the watery shades of blue would be easy enough to add. Love this!

Grey is so not my neutral, but this collection is lovely. It is amazing how just a few colorful pieces can really bring a neutral wardrobe to life. That Fair Isle sweater is gorgeous – I really wish I lived in a climate where I could wear it (I love cooler weather but so far we are just not seeing much of it here in Georgia)! I like the fact that the same tee shirts are used in multiple colors, because that is the way I buy them. Tee shirts are a mainstay in my wardrobe, so when I find a style that fits well and is not too expensive I stock up. Have a great weekend, Janice!

It would look so different with black, but just as nice! You could do the same with all white and "natural" linen as a base but it wouldn't be very practical…

would it possible to request warm based neutrals with this, please

These are my colors. Green-blues are so hard to match season to season; I should really build a better grey base. That wardrobe looks so functional.

Nice example! I've been following along and redoing my wardrobe in quality, long-lasting pieces for the last two years. Except for a few I'll donate, my clothes complement one another in colors and hues, without conscious effort on my part. I gravitate to the rainbow of blues, some blue-gray, and natural. This makes my grouping much easier!

Please, please do one using "Calm" from Kathkath — Thanks for the discount. I LOVE long scarves — much easier for me with a short neck to wear — and this one with it's blue, green and pinks is gorgeous. (I have a purse and shoes in the blue and would love to see what you'd come up with as other options!)
