The last five colors, until the next batch of colors appears!
I’m thinking of assembling all of the Pantone images that I’ve ever done – well, all the ones that I can find – and putting them into a big file that you could download. My ideas it that being able to see a LOT of these colors all together would give us all a broad base for figuring out favorites…
Let’s (very carefully!) jump in:

Sundress – Chelsea 28; earrings – Gold & Honey; bracelet – Gold & Honey; scarf – Echo; phone bag – Zatchels; sandals – Naturalizer
Who doesn’t look good in teal? I remember that it was always one of the four accent colors that were suggested when you needed a color that was at least neutral on most people. (the other three were coral, true royal purple, and a clear pink)
I’m becoming a big fan of Chili Oil – I could break down and buy ALL of this! Yes, the scarf is quite dear, but your grandchildren get to fight over it eventually…
Jacket – Alex Mill; carnelian earrings – The Met Store; scarf – Max Mara; chesnut (yes, chesnut) bag – Longchamp; poplin shirt – Woolrich; sneakers – Joseph Seibel
Bronze Mist is just a bit “greener” than camel, but I suspect many of us would not quibble… And this summer sweater is the quintessence of what I’m thinking of when I talk about “textured tops” in the Weekly Timeless Wardrobe…
Cotton sweater – L.L.Bean; earrings – The Met Store; pin – Napier; scarf – Soft Strokes Silk; bag – Sśage; sandals – Vionic
A Janice favorite! Anything within shouting distance of purple gets my vote:
Minimal grey (???) top – L.L.Bean; earrings – Marquise Swim; scarf – The Met Store; striped top – Lands’ End; backpack – Fable England; sneakers – Propét
And for anyone who’s rocking an earth-toned wardrobe, here’s a delicious accent color! Those Talbots espadrilles just feel like summer…
Sleeveless top – J.Crew; carnelian earrings – Opium Jewels; scarf – The Met Store; bracelet – Nellou Jewellery; espadrilles – Talbots; shirt – Caslon
Some updates on life at The Vivienne Files! We are leaving on vacation on Thursday the 24th, and won’t be back ’til the first weekend of May. (It’s not as long as I’m making it sound…)
My plan is to start the Six Paintings – 12 Months posts for May on the 25th, and post on the normal MWF schedule to fill the time I’m gone. There will also be an AMAZING bracelet post inserted into this plan, as soon as we have that ready.
So you have beautiful things, and conversation, while I’m sitting in a pub, or wandering aimlessly. That should work!
much love,
Janice
p.s. Ten years ago, the wardrobe of the day was a 4 by 4 in black, beige, marsala and natural. These are such great, timeless, seasonless colors! Marsala was the color of the year in 2015, now it’s the beverage of the day.
Well, tickle me pink! Or, rather, FANFARE TEAL. I’m loving every single piece in that grouping and seriously considering investing in all of them for my daughter’s bridal shower.
The color that surprised me that I’m also liking is the LAVENDER BLUE. You are a dream in purple, Janice, as are many beautiful women. I put it on and I look like either Willy Wonka or the McDonald’s Grimace Shake monster. However, this particular shade is bordering on periwinkle and I super attracted to it.
The only one I’m not feeling is the Bronze Mist, which also surprises me because, normally, I’m attracted to warm tones. This one? I don’t know. It sort is giving off “fake tanner overdose” notes to me. That being said, I do believe this would be a highly flattering shade on most humans.
Have a safe & joyful vacation! I’m off to Santa Barbara for some sun, sand and laughter!
Fanfare Teal for me! Have a lovely weekend everyone!
Love the Fanfare Teal and the Lavender. Hope you are feeling better now! Have a safe and wonderful vacation.
The fanfare teal got me. I could happily wear this all summer.
Have a wonderful holiday Janice and Happy Easter everyone.
Have a great holiday! As an aside, Chico’s has a lot of green and blue late spring and summer pieces that would fit in the O’Keef ocean wave art piece. And some statement necklace. I know they are not great in providing photos that are not on models.
Thanks for this! I can always check their site and see if they’ve got anything useful for us…
hugs,
Janice
“Yes, the scarf is quite dear, but your grandchildren get to fight over it eventually…”
Best logic ever for making wardrobe investments!
I just love shades of green. 🩵
So, for me, Fanfare too. The other shades will be difficult to find. 🤔
Fanfare! by at least three lengths :) SUCH a gorgeous colour.
Love the teal. I wish that I could do more with it in my wardrobe but it’s just not one of my “go to colours”. However, it does act as a foil for pink and purple. Sadly that lavender blue is just a bit to anemic for me. Enjoy planning for your holiday.
