I’m home – I was in the hospital, because it turns out that (1) I have COVID (which I certainly picked up when I went to the hospital the first time, to have my ribs checked…) and that (2) I have SEVEN broken ribs, not three. Turns out that broken ribs don’t show up as clearly on an X-Ray as they do on a CT scan.
But I don’t have pneumonia. And that’s important, and good. So I’m hanging onto that thought!
love,
Janice

Feel better fast. I missed the post Wednesday, but your health is more important than the post.

Oh, my! I hope you can take life gently while you’re healing. We have years of wonderful posts to review so relax as best you can before the holiday swirl begins. Take care!
Kathy says
o my goodness! When it rains, it pours as grandma used to say. Hope you are resting and taking it easy. Sending healing thoughts your way!

I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Oh my goodness! Take care! I’ve noticed that these kinds of injuries and illness do happen after the passing of a mother or loved one we have cared for. I suffered a broken ankle, back injuries, a flu that lasted two months and then with a relapse – and then more. And so I, like others, said my prayers, rested, and then rebuilt. You have an army here of people who love you and will cheer you on. We will hang in there with you until you are fully strong enough to start posting again! ❤️
MamaSquirrel says
As Helen said–praying that you can rest and rebuild.

Oh no how awful. I’m sending you lots of love and well wishes. I hope at least you are not coughing or sneezing because that combined with all those broken ribs does not bear thinking about.
Leslie says
Oh, wow! Bless your heart! Please take time for yourself and rest.
