Beautiful bracelets! Always such a treat, and such an inspiration to the imagination…
There are four accent colors here, but I’m passing on the dark green and vivid gold for today – in the autumn, our heroine could certainly assemble an entirely different wardrobe in navy with those accents! How fun is that?
But for today, for Spring, we’re going with pretty pastels:
Let’s get our heroine started with some grey basics; any time you’ve got silver in jewelry, you can easily translate that to grey clothes. I suspect our heroine might have some grey hair? And blue/green eyes?
Earrings – Janus Edinburgh; necklace – Pearls of the Orient Online; cotton cardigan – Lands’ End; white tee shirt – L.L.Bean; grey tee shirt – Lands’ End; white jeans – L.L.Bean; skirt – Uniqlo; pants – Banana Republic; loafers – SAS; bag – Amy Lynn; flats – Naturalizer
The weather’s not all that warm where our heroine is, but her heart is set on pretty colors! She manages to find four tops that go beautifully with her grey pieces and some accessories to add a bit of interest.
Yes, you’ve seen that Artifact. scarf before. I’m still quite smitten with it!
bracelets – Fierce Lynx Designs; earrings – Robert Lee Morris; dusty teal sweater – L.L.Bean; scarf – Jessie Zhao New York; lavender sweater – L.L.Bean (they call it “minimal gray”); misty aqua tee – Lands’ End; scarf – Artifact.; shirt – Lands’ End
When you put all of the garments together in one place, you can see how nicely they all dance together:
Although a fair number of outfits are self-evident in the image above, I always like to look at what the possibilities might be!
This would be perfect for a long weekend visiting family, or attending a basketball tournament, or just getting away…
love,
Janice

The bracelet and the artifact scarf are just amazing! Having added a few pieces of that light teal to my wardrobe for spring perhaps I should take a serious look at them! One can never have too many accessories. IMHO
Having just had my colors analyzed and classified as a soft summer, these are some of the colors that were recommended to me. I have never worn gray, but the grays here really blend beautifully with the lavender and aqua. Thanks for showing me how to work it in!
Me too I am feeling the need for soft pretty colours because of spring. I’ve tried to rearrange my closet to put my few pastel items front and center so that I can easily grab them. I know by the summer, this feeling will go away and I will be back to my favourite accent of red.
What a pretty, pretty group of pieces and, for the right heroine, I can see this being bang on. How great is this scarf with the look too?!
I have been sorely tempted by these pretty Fierce Lynx designs bracelets. However, I just wish they had more choices using gold tone beads, instead of silver. I’d love to see you work with one of the gold tone sets, at some point, too. They’re dreamy!
This is such a beautiful set! As a fellow soft summer I can say that I really love these colors. I’m even wearing all gray today as I had a visit with my physical therapist and my favorite workout friendly outfit is gray velvet pants, a gray Henley and a gray fleece vest with a wee snowflake charm on the zipper toggle and snowflakes embroidered on the front shoulders. Yes it’s winter themed but I still love it anyway. Lol. For accent I’m wearing pink socks with cute little elephants on them.
I love the combination of lilac/light amethyst, light teal/jade/aqua and grey. A recent purchase of mine is a lavender grey chiffon scarf with a pattern of pink/white blossom and birds with aqua, pink and grey plumage.
However, lovely the bracelets are, the yellow stones immediately puts me off. I never wear yellow and I will bypass anything with yellow in the pattern, even florals with yellow centres. I know that I won’t wear them. Maybe I’m too fussy.
You’re allowed to be fussy – it’s YOUR wardrobe, YOUR money, and YOUR preference. It’s not like you’re so picky that you go around naked all the time!
love,
Janice
