Good morning everyone. That beige tee looks amazing. I have a couple of the Alex Mill sweaters and love them.I do appreciate these posts. Again, such a good example of how less is more. Looking forward to tomorrow’s post….

If it is difficult to find images of your summer dresses, have you considered hanging them or laying them on a neutral background (wall, bedspread…?) and taking your own photo? You are clearly an expert at getting rid of extraneous backgrounds with the pictures you find on the web.

Either that, or I may just take one of the Eileen Fisher images on a model and take away as much of the poor woman as I can manage… I struggle to find a good blank space in our apartment from which I can get a good angle!
hugs,
Janice

I see you’ve bought another Wool& dress! What’s it like wearing wool in hot, humid Chicago? My summer climate is hot (in the 90s most days) and dry, and I can’t imagine wearing wool.
Janice says
It is amazingly comfortable. Men have worn wool suits for centuries and not died; I know they’re not as bright as women, but maybe they’re right about this?

Janice

I am doing my 100 day challenge in navy Maggie and she is the most comfortable thing to wear in the heat! Just throw a pair of flip flops on with her and go. So far so good!!
Vicki from New Zealand says
Kristi, can you keep us updated periodically? I am really interested how this will go for you.
Lee Ann says
LOL that makes sense! Thanks, and I hope your arm heals quickly.

I’m not doing a challenge currently, but I have purchased a wool& Camellia dress. I am loving wearing it in the SoCal desert (not many other places as hot or as dry as here, lol). Usually just throw it on with a pair of Jockey skimmers underneath, maybe a t-shirt over and whatever footwear is appropriate for the day. I have yet to be uncomfortable.
Real world living – Yesterday late afternoon (90+F), while Team Basic in just the dress, I vacuumed and mopped the floors of a rental we’re prepping for new tenants, didn’t turn on the evaporative cooler (or A/C) and was nicely temperature regulated in my wool.

Janice, I always love seeing what you wore. Is there any chance you can share the outfits too?
