It was cold, and then it was hot. We could practically see flowers blooming and trees turning green before our eyes…

I was so surprised to see polka dots! Not sure why – they are black and white…. and I know you got the sweater for Christmas.😁 My black has been languishing in the closet for the most part. I seem to have shifted to navy without even realizing it. I also wear gray and tan. It has been colder than normal here and looks like it may continue. I shall be able to wear my beloved cords and sweaters for awhile yet. Thank you Janice.

I love the polka dots. But I crave color at this time of year. I know this heat won’t last but I dug out my summer things from the spare closet and will pop on a cardigan as it inevitably turns cold again.

The polka dots are so cheerful! They are my go-to print, although usually smaller than the one shown. No heat wave here on the west coast, but definitely signs of spring everywhere.

I like polka dots but find them limiting.
It was so warm yesterday that I was able to go out wearing a top and jumper. I didn’t even have a camisole under it. It stayed mild into the evening too. My day outfit for Sunday was navy cotton trousers, pink jumper and slate blue/pink top with a pink/silver scarf aka Friday’s colour theme. I changed to purple dress and silver shoes for dinner. Today I’ll be wearing periwinkle blue cardigan, ivory top and silver grey linen trousers with snake print shoes. I like the variety!

Why was I surprised that the polka dots were black on white rather than white on black? It was like looking at a film negative. But it was chic and fun! I may have to sideline my zebra stripes and give polka dots another look.
