In the last week! I’m truly not sick of my dress; I would NEVER have imagined that I would wear it this long and not want to chuck it out the window…
love,
Janice

I gotta say – anything with the stripes seems to float my boat. I’ve successfully worn neutrals two days in a row…. not quite the same as wearing the same dress for 100 days, but given my love of color…. 🤣🤣
Do you like Madewell Leggings? I’ve always worn Hue, but would be willing to switch…
Stick with Hue – Madewell are lovely, but not worth the nearly doubled price. Hue – especially if you can find them at Nordstrom Rack – are a wonderful value…

That black chenille sweater looks so cozy!
How is the dress holding up to all of this wear? Is it pilling or anything? How do you wash it?
Handwash with Eucalan about every 7 to 10 days, or machine wash on “handwash” setting. It truly looks almost new – no pilling, no anything. Truly a well-made garment, worthy of the price!

I’m especially loving the purple touches.
Janice, will you be writing a synopsis of your hundred-day dress adventure? It would be very interesting to “hear” your thoughts on the endeavour.
It’s hard to believe the project ends on Friday! (I hope I’ve counted it correctly)
This is an excellent idea. From a style standpoint, what worked and what didn’t?
Silly me…I just had a random thought about you ( Janice) entitling your summarizing article about your dress saga….
The 1970’s movie about Anne Boleyn – “Anne of a Thousand Days” – popped into my mind and out popped your title: “The Dress for a Hundred Days”.
Morning brain can be silly 😜 … I shared this only to make folks smile (and to maybe elicit memories of watching that movie in History class 🍿).
Oh, Monday’s post will be ALL ABOUT the dress, the 100 days, what I wore with it, and what I learned… I’m already thinking about it!
love,
Janice
Would love to see a picture of you in your dress!
How is the dress after 96 days? How often do you wash it? I love your work.
Thanks
I have been both intrigued and inspired by your posts about this amazing merino dress. I have enjoyed all the accessories and other pieces you’ve used to make each different look. Interesting you have not been bored – I guess that’s the key to challenge… overcoming boredom and digging deeper!
So congratulations on meeting the challenge!!
