Two doctor appointments in 2 days with my mother… But at least we get out to see the absolutely lovely autumn foliage in the parks!

Stunning scarf. Perfect for autumn foliage.

Treasure your time (even doctor’s appointments) with your Mom. My mom passed 7 months ago today and I miss her every single day!
Marcia says
Love these two outfits just need to change out the flats for boots.

Janice, I love your Hermes scarf. Geometric designs are one of my weaknesses.
How dis you fold/tie/wear it with your outfit?
Kelly G. says
I always wonder how many times you wear the dress as a jumper/pinafore, and how often you wear it as a skirt replacement. A lot of the tops you select seem like they could go either underneath or over the bodice.
Margery says
Love the rich berry toned top and scarf with the accessories and dress.
Joanne Long says
I’m on Day 55 of an 8 week trip where I’ve used your dress layering strategy extensively, Each dress has a corresponding top/sweater so it becomes a skirt or jumper. All tops coordinate with my navy bottoms. Dressing is very easy. Merci.

Star scarf, star earrings. Love it.
Can the dress be belted?
Even though your routine doesn’t seem to include fancier events right now, can higher heels and different jewelry carry it to a cocktail party or the opera? Holiday parties?
If anyone can accessorize this dress/jumper into any occasion, it’s you, Janice.
Janice says
This dress could go almost anywhere – it wouldn’t be dressy enough for a true black-tie event, but with a little beaded cardigan and dress shoes it would be perfect for cocktails or the symphony.
It’s truly proving to be a workhorse dress; I’m still not tired of wearing it, and it shows NO signs of wear and tear after 48 straight days!

Janice
