She was bowled over when she was told she needed to travel to the capital because of an issue with Probate Court! But when she received the expense check to cover her travel (and a bit of shopping), she was prepared to make some smart choices. This is what she packed for that most life-changing adventure:
She’s still getting used to the idea of being able to retire… She just worked the last day of her 4 week notice to her employers, and she’s heading away for a couple of days, to a city in Mexico of which she has heard a great deal…
She’s not meeting a realtor; she just want to BE there for a day or two, to see how it feels. She’s certain that she will know if she wants to move there for a while, within just a few hours…
She didn’t want to take much with her – her new jewelry HAD to go with her, but otherwise she just wanted to have… enough…
She’s only there for a long weekend, so it’s not as if she needs to bring steamer trunks full of stuff!
Just a peaceful town – that’s all she wants. Someplace where she can study Spanish, and read, cook and see the moon at night…
love,
Janice

How evocative are those words then? Just as evocative as the gorgeous clothes she has chosen :-)

Janice,
I loved the original wardrobe from this inspiration, and the love just keeps on going with this post as well !

This is so beautiful, I love this color scheme. Now I feel like wearing my coral scarf today, thank you!

Beautiful — but I would advise against traveling with such lovely, expensive jewelry, even if she can afford to replace it!
