Well, around the colors of a pigeon, yes. I did it a few years ago, and it’s still a favorite wardrobe of mine!
It’s terribly difficult to find clothes in these subtle shades; if this was my wardrobe, I might have to have a pet pigeon to carry about with me, just to use as a color reference…

Sleeveless top – L.K. Bennett, linen pants – White Stuff, iolite earrings – Mabel Hasell, sandals – Caparros, earrings – Claudia Baldazzi , clutch bag – Knights and Roses, dress – Vince, sandals – Nina

Your pigeon post is one of my favourites too!
If you ever get stuck for a series idea, you can do birds! Wood ducks, bald eagles, blue jays, robins would all make interesting wardrobes.
Lovely colours – and I would gladly send someone the pigeons that are making a mess of my car every single day! Ah well, "nature"…… And again, lovely colours!
Ooh I don't remember ever seeing this post-beautiful! and the subtle colors are so classy. I shall bookmark this one for inspiration. Its fascinating how grey can be so feminine with the right accessories and accents. Janice Collins, Washington DC
Love this color schema! Very similar to what I'm working on.
I knew someone who had a pet pigeon. They kept it indoors and it flew all over the house. The furniture was all covered in plastic. They are pretty birds if you can get past the mess.
Pigeons are the bully boys in my garden so no way do I fancy carrying one around as an accessory! But they do make for pretty capsule colour inspiration. And you had me at grey.
P.S. I love birds and any of of the tropical ones would be great for inspiration. I would love to see a fall-winter capsule wardrobe based on the booby bird: chocolate brown, grey, cream, and teal. Their large feet are teal! Janice Collins, Washington DC
