Can anyone explain WHY this duffel bag is for men? Then she goes back to the hotel, takes a long hot shower… Room service and a good book are her only companions…

Definitely more of a waiting for the weather to get cold than for the holiday decorations to be out – they seem to try to start before Halloween anymore!

By sheer coincidence I'm wearing these colours today! It has finally cooled down a bit so I can wear a sweater today (I've had the A/C back on for the past few days because it's been around 28C and humid!) here in Toronto.
As for Christmas Decorations – The BAY (our big dept. store) had their decorations out on Sept. 17th!!!! People were NOT amused and they've been getting a lot of negative feedback – just ridiculous.
A friend of mine used to do this sort of thing at least once a year – check into a nice hotel, book some Spa treatments and just relax in her room in her pjs with a good book – she said it was the perfect way to recharge.

I really enjoy a hotel room to myself. It is such a luxury to slip into crisp sheets with a good book. These colours are favourites of mine. I am considering the LL Bean turtleneck.

A private escape on one's own schedule is a lovely thing. These colours are rich and beautiful.
Love these colors as well, and am loving the Tote Bag travel series as I do many quick overnights.
I'm envisioning a light tan short trench and teal gloves – would look great with either scarf .. that and a beige or black nylon Longchamp tote. I always take my Longchamp tote when shopping. Big enough for small folding umbrella and small purchases, etc and do light in weight! Also it folds up to tiny in travel bag.

Wonderful concept for a quick getaway. The wheels are spinning as I figure out how to pull off my own escape to solitude before the holidays. This is going to be fun!
These are not really my colors, but I would wear them if I could take this trip, because this is the overnight stay for me! My husband can never understand why I would want to just check into a hotel and do room service instead of going out to a fancy restaurant, but sometimes a little down time is an absolute necessity, especially if I have accompanied him to a conference and we have been socializing quite a bit. I just love the stories that accompany these wardrobes!
