She used to really love red, but lately it’s been feeling too bold, too “out there”. So she decided to start wearing a vintage red, perfectly aged, and ideal for indulgence. Now she feels more elegant, a bit more earthy, and somewhat intoxicating…

Have to spend a few hours at the office this morning. You came up with the answer as to what to wear with my black jeans. That Hermes scarf is the object of my desire.

Amazing!! I love reading your blog daily. It inspires me to reexamine my wardrobe, and to fill in the "blanks." You also help me develop my "eye" in shopping trends. Thank you!!

We can't all wear black head to foot, and some of us can't, or don't wear scarves all day. Please can you in include a few tops with colour.
Gail says
No, we can't–but this series is consolation and vindication for those whose required on-the-job wardrobe is black.

Love the Hermes scarf but the whole colour scheme is very appealing to me. This is a very inspiring post as it illustrates just how versatile A CRAZY 8 in one colour can be very versatile.

These are lovely. Just one question- do you generally find that the colours viewed on screen are an accurate representation of the actual product- should one decide to purchase on-line?

I love the idea of it as vintage red. Its definitely a colour I would look at adding more to my wardrobe as I've recently been finding the true red a bit too bright for me.
