Some of us aren’t going to be wearing white all summer long, nor will pastel accessories work really well for everybody. So I’m going to revisit the idea of buying a summer scarf, but this time working with a base of navy linen clothes… The idea of picking up a couple of bright accessories to update my summer wardrobe is very tempting! These are the scarves:
And the simple navy garments:
Never discount the merits of a cool pair of sunglasses, or a snazzy summer bag…

Just wanted to thank you Janice and the community for this blog. I have recently found it and am in the process of going through older posts and even older clothes :-).
This advice with visuals is exactly what I've needed to pare down and get myself in order.

You've done it again! Another pack of simply scrumptious accessories. I would happily wear all and any of those (except maybe the old gold/mustard colour – might not be so great for my colouring). Still, lovely stuff, well done.

This is pretty much how I dress these days…a uniform neutral base with accessories on top! Love the colors you selected!

These basics plus the white basic would make a great summer wardrobe starter…

Just came back from a visit to Greenwich Village in NYC. It seemed like all the European women tourists had a scarf around their necks. They all looked very chic!

I've heard others say this in the comments but now I'm joining them – this is my favorite post ever! This is just 'me'! I wear black a lot with wonderful colors. I was in Chicago last weekend wearing black pants, T and blazer with coral sandals and coral scarf. Simple. I got many compliments. So easy. so dramatic.
