Now that it’s snowed in Chicago, it feels strange to post the very warm-weather outfits that I saw over the weekend. But spring WILL arrive – it always has…
This dress was amazingly attractive; while I don’t in any way need more clothes, this would really tempt me!
The girl wearing these pants looked fabulous. I think her legs were 4 feet long…
The tunic in the 2nd outfit was WAAAAY cuter in person than the photograph really conveys, and it looked tremendously comfortable too.
love,
Janice

Wonderfully classic, simple, and appealing outfits, Janice. There's something so insouciant and youthful about dots; they always seem to bring out my inner Minnie Mouse.

I'm a stripe girl Vs a polka dot girl. But Janice, did you see these polka dot sneakers? I wouldn't mind wearing these in Europe!

Love both polka dots and stripes. I think that they are among the easiest prints to wear. And it's fun to add another print to them to liven them up. Ladylighttravel…do you have a link to the polka dot sneakers?
It snowed here in southern Wisconsin last night, too. So discouraging to wake up to that white stuff…in April!

It is above, but you'll have to copy and paste it into the browser. Let's see if I can do an active link here:

BTW, I finallay went with these striped ones with a jute wrap around the side. While they are lace-less I think a bit of grosgrain ribbon lacing would be a nice touch.

Perfect timing! I just wore my white silk skirt with giant black polka dots with a black t shirt today, but now seeing this post I think, "why didn't I put some colour with it?". I'll have a go next time… maybe cobalt blue.

I'll take your word for it that the tunic was cute in person. On your page it looks like a maternity top. Never again!
