As before, I find it striking that if you commit yourself to a favorite color, and carefully assemble a few outfits to reflect this preference, you then have – almost without trying – assembled a travel capsule wardrobe. Yes, there are a lot of shoes here, but they’re mostly rather flat, and would pack easily. Three scarves, three pieces of jewelry, and you have dozens of options!
love,
Janice

Yay! Love teal! It's one of those fall colors (like forest green) that looks good next to my skin.
Many thanks,
Martine

Me too – I'm all about a range of blues and greens. I wear teal with navy as well as grey.

I also love teal and saw a lot of options as I shopped this past weekend…but, as always, you give us the best options!

My favourite colour!! Add some black and white basics, and I would have the perfect wardrobe.

I've done teal with black or brown but never with grey. It looks so good.

These are beautiful outfits–and I love the way teal looks right for any season.

I've been trying to choose the colors for my capsule wardrobe for a few weeks now. I had thought perhaps navy, gray, and purple, but now I am thinking gray, teal, and purple. Gray seems to look so good with everything.

I love the idea of grey as a neutral, with two accent colors. Grey is so great to work with because it's so easy to wear shades of it together; there's no need to worry too much about matching. Some other neutrals, like navy, aren't so forgiving.

Grey's my own favorite, most flattering neutral. It actually seems more versatile than black, is, yes, completely easy to wear with any shade of itself, and somehow always looks both a little unexpected and classy. I notice that most of my favorites of your posts, Janice, involve grey in some way; my all-time favorite combination (despite a post of yours about amber/rust garments and amber jewelry that I still dream about…) is probably grey and camel(a camel with goldish, not beige, tones). I could–and have on occasion from a suitcase–happily wear that combination every day.

YEAH! As a blue-eyed brunette this is one of my favorite color combinations! Thanks so much for the inspiration to be more creative with this color pairing.
