But Google has something very BAD going on, and when I try to respond to comments, I get transferred to a page for RIPT;;, whatever the heck that is.
To clarify the sponsorship thing – it’s through Nordstrom -I’m going to be posting a lot of my usual links which will route to the product on Nordstrom’s site; I will use their site as my starting point for finding items to include in my ensembles. Any purchases will then generate a wee bit of revenue for me. I’m not going to the south of France on these proceeds, but I might be able to pay for my own dry cleaning and shoe repairs… But rest assured that I’m not going to compromise my aesthetic standards just to find something on a fee-generating site – I will go wherever it takes to find the perfect scarf, or shoe, or tee shirt, to make my blog posts as beautiful as possible.
I love you all – thanks so much for your patience as Google jerks us all around and gets on our last nerve…

A bit of income is not a bad thing. We don't think you sold out for the big bucks! (altho we might want the opportunity ourselves …)

Hi, I will try once again…I hope my comment will be published.
First, your blog is so unique and wonderful…a great reference.
Second, looking through your archives for help in putting together a teal, J.Crew pencil skirt…can you help or direct me?
Thank you.

For some odd reason I have to hit the 'refresh' button numerous times to get to the contents of your blog. Until then, all I see is 'kimli' and the little wheels turning. :0) But I will be here again tomorrow. Thanks for all you do.

Me too. And if the page does turn up, the links to comments have vanished……….

Same here on having trouble viewing blog and/or comments. I also notice that the background color changes to gray when the comments have disappeared.

I'm having trouble too. I get the 'kimli' thing, then the page loads but the styling is missing from the title and the view options (flipcard, classic etc) don't show, and there are no options popping out from the right side for searching by labels etc; also comments aren't accessible. I reloaded the page about 8 times just now, and FINALLY it loaded properly with all the options available including access to comments.
I'm getting it fine via Feedly, no problems with the RSS that I can tell.

I just checked the help forum for Blogger, couldn't find any recent specific issues with Blogger generally, or the disappearing comments problem, but apparently custom domains are a recurring problem. The help forum sends you to this page
http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/2009/11/troubleshooting-your-custom-domain.html#PartiallyPublished
with vast quantities of instructions for diagnosing and fixing problems. I know you mentioned you lost the whole blog when you set up a custom domain, so I am just guessing the current problems might possibly be related, (or they may not be at all), but I thought I'd share that link with you in case it helps at all.
FWIW, I'm using Chrome (Mac) just in case there is any relationship to specific browsers or OSs.

To the right of the URL I have four symbols. One looks like a rectangle with a zigzag line through it. When "The Vivienne Files" fail to load properly and I get a gray background with the "kimli" thingy and no comments, I click on the rectangle and usually the file will reload correctly. Sometimes I get a message about something not being compatible with something else, therefore I need to click on the rectangle. I don't understand any of this, but maybe the information will help someone else.
