Sometimes, when you need to pack for just a few days, it can be impossible to get started – just to get that first garment off of a hanger and into a bag.
One idea I’ve had for giving impetus and focus to this project is to start with a favorite scarf of two, and to build a mostly-neutral wardrobe around it. A few brightly colored garments brighten things up, and give you a lot of mileage for just a few things, in a small bag.

I'm putting your pack-by-scarf method to work this very weekend. :) Thanks so much, Janice.

Janice, only you would match the rolling suitcase to the pallet (sp?). Wonderful!

Heck yea! If you're going to have a signature color, it's particularly important that the big investments be consistent with your chosen palette. That's one of the things that makes it easy to have a consistent look – your major things are chosen with a plan!

You have presented most of my Project 333 Spring/Summer capsule here with this post. I have a carryover skirt in a print with white, green and blue and am using white and camel neutral basics with blue and green accent colors because I adore and want them all! Planning a shopping trip tomorrow to start my hunt for cognac and either blue or green flats. Planning to add a camel top and a blazer and be done for the season!

Janice, that is the prettiest Fleurs de Lotus scarf I've ever seen. Normally, I don't care for that design, but the colors in this version are outstanding!
