Yeah for simple clothes!!! I love beige with black, it's my don't-know-what-to-wear answer. I recently found a beautiful lightweight Emilio Pucci scarf with these colors that elevates this simple color scheme very nicely. Before I found your blog I thought that I look the same pretty much day-in and out, and I probably do, but not I am okey with it. Have a nice weekend.
Would make packing for a summer vacation super simple – toss in a couple pairs of shoes and sandals, at least one scarf,a straw hat and fun accessories you're totally set & ready to go just about anywhere – day or night – at a moments notice. Thanks -this is a keeper.
The basics are all here now just add the accessories which I have come to appreciate as the icing on the cake! Hope you are planning a wonderful weekend Janice.
So happy you did a simple summer wardrobe. I have been wanting to ask you for this for ages because whilst I have loved the winter versions, I have been sweltering in Australia for months, often weeks of 40 Celsius. All we do is perspire! Can't tolerate anything synthetic or close! Love this – it will help my retirement plans!
Yes, I heartily echo the comment. I'm in West Coast USA but a bit inland to the south and the winter clothes for me, although I love them, can never work here, at least for a lot of (menopausal) women. And I consistently return to lightweight (loose) linen; it's the only thing that really keeps me cool. You can look a bit rumply in linen because of the wrinkling but, these days, I am far more preoccupied with comfort. I, too, love the melding of black, white, tans. Thanks, Janice. It helps a lot. This is, of course, basic; will love to see infusions of color here and there from you, The Guru.

I think we are all tired of winter and looking forward to Spring and Summer! This is great for both seasons.

This more or less is my summer wardrobe, and it has worked for me for years. I'll love to see how you tweak it in coming posts to add more pizzazz.
