I love the chic, dressy looks of these great combinations–and especially because there's no suit jacket in sight. I must prefer thinking of a suit, whether pant suit or skirt suit, as separates.

Maybe I can buy my heather brown suit back. It would have worked so well with the types of items you show.
I really like the last frame; right up my alley. The scarf would deflect the browns away from my face (face doesn't like browns). Is a skirt combo coming? This is fun. I've always wanted to buy a 3-piece; felt like if I could find the right one, I'd be set.
On another thread, a commenter had talked about a post sometime about how to wear a shirt. I am the same. I love the classic look of a button-down white. All button-downs look bad on me; I'm a over-the-head kind of top/shirt person. I can never wear a shirt dress with a collar. Belt doesn't help. Needing to be convinced otherwise. Just don't know how to make it work.
