This is great, 'thinking about the intent'
I don't look my best in roll necks, but have a few for for warmth. I have a couple vnecks, in blue grey but was always thinking I needed a black one..now I know I don't

Another fantastic post, as usual. I recently made the moved from a black turtle to a V neck in oatmeal.
Coincidently Marilyn Monroe lounging in a turtle neck and capris is scheduled in the next day or so on Inspired Capsule – a timeless, classic look!

I love the look of a black turtleneck however, I am one of those people who look bad with black that close to her face AND I look silly in turtlenecks. So I opt for the black cashmere v-neck sweater with a scarf. ~~Bliss

I'm another v-neck woman, both because of climate and because of my figure. I'm migrating to navy and gray from black. Love these posts.

My black turtleneck sweater is a black v-neck sweater: perfect for large busts, but still captures the spirit of a turtleneck. Mine is worn as often as the weather allows.

I can get away with a turtleneck, but not black against my face:) I'm currently looking for a navy cashmere v-neck sweater.
