Travel Capsule Wardrobe: sunset and sky meets the 8 blues
The ever brilliant Juhli asked what would happen if someone with a good base wardrobe (like the sunset and sky wardrobe from here) wanted to expand their wardrobe. She pondered the wisdom of using one of the “eights” like the one in blue that I did here as a basis for acquisitions.Juhli is one really brilliant person… see the results!
I am learning so much! But I am having one HUGE problems (and lots of little ones). It is getting the "just right" version of a color. I need clear but not bright colors, and although I can take some pastels, they do not fit my personality. so I think I need a muted version of colors, and I LIKE a lot of colors that are not really my best. anyway, I recently thought I was so smart purchasing a cardie in what I thought was a mustard, to complete an accessory group of mustard-y things. It turns out to be MUCH too bright. Any suggestions? This seems to happen to me over and over. I know I do not have a good color memory. so my selectons look "almost right."
Love this fun wardrobe.
Your blogs are more fun than paperdolls!
Shhh, don't tell anybody; they ARE paper dolls!
They would make good ones, printed out; I never thought of that!
thanks for being here,
Vivienne
