Vivienne, another beautiful collection, I love the suede footwear.
I am a little hesitant in purchasing/wearing suede shoes/boots in case of getting caught in the rain. I know there are protection products on the market, and would ask if anyone has experience of how good they are.
Thank you,
Mme UK

Thank you, thank you! These are perfect. Your picks will really help me to visualize and break out of my 'comfort rut'. You must be a mind reader also, because these picks also fit some requirements I hadn't even mentioned-I can't wear really high heels (injured feet), and I am required to wear a skirt/dress to work, except in the winter months. I hate shopping, but I think these photos will really help. I had already decided to go for a grey base. If I can't find items like these in stores, I will have to break out my sewing machine (and knitting needles)!

I absolutely love that Hermes scarf! Is it a recent design?
Thanks!

That scarf is some variation on the traditional Brides de Gala. It's current on the Hermes website and in stores, and it comes in a handful of luscious color combinations. I had a hard time just including one of them in this wardrobe!

This was great as I am a "cool summer" and love charcoal grey. I still wear a lot of black but try to keep it on my bottom half. If I wear a black jacket, I wear a punch of color around my face (have to!). I can pull some great ideas from this capsule. Thanks!!

This and the mother of pearl/abalone capsules are PERFECTLY wonderful! Because I live in Houston, I'd have to do a few exchanges, but not too many. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration. I, too, am in a fashion rut and have been incredibly inspired by your thoughtful capsule wardrobes. -mary

OK! I am new to blog sites and I hope I am doing this right.I am in my mid thirties and a mom of two young boys (4yrs and 7months old). I love fun style but have had to put things aside the last little while. I am about to take a big shopping trip to re do my wardrobe. I work part time (casual) and I do like to look trendy but comfy when I am out with my boys. I love your "crazy 8" ideas and I really need to get a handle on how to get a fresh start when I take this shopping trip. I attached a picture which really is my style in life.

I LOVE this wardrobe. It would suit me to a T! I'm trying to get away from too much black as I get older, and gray has become my go-to color, mixed with blues and pinks and berry shades.

I recently found your blog and love it. Thank you for this wardrobe. It is exactly what I need to get me going toward a more color appropriate, adaptable wardrobe. Yes!

Only just found your website and love it.
Just found out that I’m apparently a True summer so found this useful. How much luck I’ll have trying to find stuff suitable fir my age in the uk is probably going to be a completely different story as over here they seem to think a 61(me) year old really wants to shop and wear the same clothes as a teenager ?
