Love!!!! I'd love to see what magic you could work with khaki bottoms and white tops…this is my work uniform. It would be great to thnk about going to and from work nicely turned out.

This is wonderful. As I get older black seems a little more harsh and I've been wearing more navy, white and grey. These are great ideas.

I've always seen my watch as a tasetful, but utilitarian accessory–mainly a timepiece. I has never occurred to me to wear a pink watch or watch of another color as a fashion accessory. What a novel concept for me.

I have seen several of the Vivienne Files on Pinterest. I would like to pin this (and a few others) but can't figure out how. Can someone help me? I am really a novice at the Pinterest concept.
Thanks.

Go to pinterest and download their pinning button. You then have a little red "P" gizmo on your toolbar, and any time you see something you like, you hit the P. It then pulls up every image on the web page where you are, and gives you the option to pin that image…
I love Pinterest!

Hi Janice, I love how you have3 brought these very basic clothes to life with these pink accessories. When I saw the pink all grouped together, I thought it was "too much pink". But the way you just choose a couple for each outfit is so tasteful! Well done!
I have been reading Ines de la Fressanges book on Parisian Chic. It has been very revealing to me too. Especially how the French don't like to match things too obviously! What a shock to me, after I have only just mastered how to coordinate my outfits more! Could you please do us a selection based on her 7 basics – it would make my day! Thanks so much for all you do. Lyn

This comment is late. But, maybe you'll see it. I have started using your page as reference when I have a clothing "melt down". I just needed to pack for a three day parents weekend at my daughter's college and suddenly was paralyzed with indecision. So, I opened up you blog and looked through the pages. I have packed something very very similar to the last two images on the page. I added sneaker for dog walking and a couple of extra light layer because I am unsure of the weather and… I'm good to go ! Many thanks.
